Banijay Entertainment has revealed its premium 2026 programming slate ahead of the London TV Screenings. Scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th, at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, the showcase will feature a diverse array of scripted drama, bold new formats, and high-impact factual content across two dedicated sessions.
The scripted offering is headlined by a major reimagining of the detective drama "Wallander" and brand-new adaptations such as "A Woman of Substance" and "Falling" for Channel 4. Additionally, the company will spotlight "Half Man" for the BBC and HBO, alongside "Open Water". Returning hits such as "Rogue Heroes" and the final season of "Grantchester" also anchor a robust scripted catalog that includes both internal productions and third-party highlights like "Two Years Later" for Paramount+.
In the non-scripted and formats arena, Banijay is introducing "Football Island", the culinary competition "100 Knives", and the psychological game "The Dinner". The distributor is also emphasizing the global travel of reimagined hits like "Fear Factor: House of Fear" and the Emmy-winning "Shaolin Heroes". The factual slate is equally strong, featuring "America’s Toughest Jails" for Discovery and CNN Original series "Eva Longoria: Searching for France".
Cathy Payne, CEO of Banijay Rights, highlighted the commercial significance of the event: “The London TV Screenings is the perfect stage to spotlight the scale and breadth of our catalogue. This year’s line-up reflects the continued global appetite for premium storytelling, with stand-out UK dramas sitting alongside hit returning titles which resonate with buyers worldwide. We look forward to welcoming partners back to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly for another exclusive event.”
Further emphasizing the company's creative strategy, James Townley, Chief Content Officer, Development, and Lucas Green, Chief Content Officer, Operations at Banijay Entertainment, added: “From sports-driven reality and comedy-crime entertainment to physical competition formats, we’re turning up the heat at London TV Screenings. We continue to build formats that evolve, travel and resonate in this environment, making waves across networks, platforms and territories; a testament to the creativity and originality born from our global teams.”
This latest slate complements Banijay’s expansive portfolio of global superbrands, including "Big Brother" and "Peaky Blinders", while reinforcing its growing footprint in digital-first content and creator-led partnerships.
