Bunqer.Tech Debuts at MIP London With AI-Powered Global Content Marketplace
New B2B content marketplace Bunqer.tech is debuting in Beta version at MIP London, with a full launch slated for the end of 2026. Backed by key strategic partnerships and AI-driven technology, the platform allows content owners and buyers worldwide to trade programming in just a few clicks, replicating the ease of online shopping while unlocking new, fast and automated revenue streams.

Positioned as a disruptive distribution solution with low transaction rates, Bunqer.tech targets sellers’ back catalogues and buyers seeking cost-effective programming options. Development concluded in November 2025, and the platform has already secured more than 8,000 hours of content, including multiple award-winning titles. Among its standout features is the ability to instantly subtitle programs into 75 languages.

Early adopters include major content partners such as ESPN and Millimages. Amazon (AWS) serves as both technical partner and sponsor, while BNP Paribas joins as partner and sponsor, ensuring secure financial transactions. Public investment bank BPI France is onboard as a financing partner.

Bunqer.tech is co-led by veteran producer Stephane Gateau, co-founder and former co-CEO of R&G Production, alongside entrepreneur and former lawyer Charles van den Broek.

“As a long-time producer of a wide range of successful TV shows, I’m pleased to see a platform that creates new revenue opportunities for producers—even long after programs have aired. Bunqer fills that need by offering broadcasters and local platforms an easy, cost-effective, and flexible solution to today’s programming challenges. I look forward to its continued growth and success,” said Stephane Gateau.

“We’re thrilled to make our debut at MIP London and are confident that Bunqer.tech will become an essential tool for producers and broadcasters building their programming grids. Our platform enables fast, simple, and secure transactions for back-catalogue content,” said Charles van den Broek.

The board brings together high-profile industry executives including Yves Bigot (former CEO of TV5 and head of programming at France 2, RTBF and Endemol France), Richard Le Normand (former CEO of StudioCanal), and Olivier Pluquet (former CEO of Havas Asia Pacific).
