WildBrain’s live-action teen drama "Finding Her Edge" is set to make its Canadian debut on January 22, premiering simultaneously on Netflix and Radio-Canada’s French-language streaming platform ICI TOU.TV EXTRA. The series will also air at a later date on Radio-Canada’s linear channel ICI TÉLÉ.

The new soapy drama, based on best-selling author Jennifer Iacopelli’s novel of the same name and inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion, delves into the glamorous and high-pressure world of competitive figure skating. The story follows three sisters who are heirs to a once-thriving skating dynasty now facing financial hardship.

At the centre of the narrative is Adriana, the middle sister, who is training for the World Championships with her new skating partner, Brayden, while still grappling with unresolved feelings for her former partner and first love, Freddie. When Adriana and Brayden decide to pose as a couple off the ice in order to secure a sponsorship and save the struggling Russo rink, personal and professional tensions quickly escalate.

Award-winning Canadian author and executive producer Jeff Norton ("Geek Girl") serves as showrunner, with Shelley Scarrow ("Wynonna Earp") as head writer, alongside writers Sabrina Sherif ("The Summer I Turned Pretty"), Jeff Norton and Jacqueline Pepall.

The series stars Madelyn Keys ("A Mother’s Life"), Harmon Walsh ("Gossip Girl"), Alexandra Beaton ("Overcompensating"), Cale Ambrozic ("Hotel Cocaine") and Olly Atkins ("Percy Jackson and The Olympians"). "Finding Her Edge" was produced by WildBrain and commissioned by Family Channel in association with Netflix.
