After sold-out runs across Europe and the U.S., LUMINISCENCE, the immersive sound-and-light experience from LOTCHI (a Banijay Live company), will make its Belgian debut on 11 December 2025 at the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula. The Brussels launch—its 20th show across 18 global cities—forms part of Gudula26, celebrating the cathedral’s 800th anniversary.

Created and produced by LOTCHI, LUMINISCENCE transforms the iconic Brabantine Gothic cathedral into a living artwork through 360° video mapping, original music and live choral performance. The show traces eight centuries of history, inviting audiences into a deeply emotional exploration of the monument.
“Every site has its own story,” said Romain Sarfati, Co-founder and CEO of LOTCHI. “Bringing LUMINISCENCE to Brussels allows us to celebrate the cathedral as a vibrant part of our shared heritage.”

Audiences begin with a sensory prelude and historical panels before the 45-minute main show, narrated by the cathedral’s “guardian spirit.” On select evenings, the LUMINISCENCE Orchestra and regional choirs will elevate the experience with live music.
The Brussels premiere follows Banijay Live’s acquisition of LOTCHI and marks another milestone in the show’s expansion across France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the U.S., and now Belgium. Next, LUMINISCENCE will illuminate Nuremberg’s Lorenzkirche from 6 February 2026, produced with Banijay Germany Live, and return to Nice’s Basilica of Notre-Dame with a new show, The Celestial Odyssey, premiering 28 November 2025.
