The Kitchen Represents Global Language Services at Iberseries 2025
Max Wynen, Vice President of Global Operations and head of the Madrid-based, European language “hub” for The Kitchen, will again represent the international language services studio at this year’s Iberseries & Plantino Industria conclave, in Madrid, taking place from September 30 through October 3, 2025.
 
As Iberseries & Platino Industria reaches its 5th year, the gathering is now one of the main meeting points for platforms, television networks, creatives, producers, distributors, buyers and industry stakeholders, with an interest in reaching the growing, global Spanish and Portuguese markets. 
 
The Kitchen headquarters is in Miami, having begun its infiltration into the localization industry as an off shoot of Venezuela’s respected Cisneros Television Group, in 2001.  The studio’s roots were very much in the LATAM market, but having its European “hub” in Madrid has given the language services operation the opportunity to work closely with clients requiring all Spanish, Portuguese and other European language services for the international marketplace.
 
Wynen explains the importance of his native language, “Neutral Spanish is, hands-down, the nucleus for most international sales, after US English. I’ve been in the business for over twenty years now, and the importance of localizing content into Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese continues to lead other language requirements.”
 
The Kitchen works to and from all languages, for all formats and genres of programming and counts such well-known entities as: BBC; NBCUniversal; Paramount; ZDF; Crunchyroll; Sony; Moonbug; Animaccord; ITV; Discovery; Mattel; and on and on as long-time clients and friends.
