During a lively Instagram live today, Rosario Fiorello surprised fans by announcing his return to television alongside Fabrizio Biggio. Sporting Jovanotti’s signature visor cap and showing minor injuries from a recent bicycle fall, Fiorello responded to Biggio’s push to “tell the audience we’re coming back” with his typical irony:
“We’re coming back. In all this old stuff around, we’re a breath of fresh air. Younger ones are doing things older than us, and we’re the old ones—we must return.”

Fiorello confirmed that the comeback is expected in October 2025, though in the meantime, he promised to keep entertaining fans with his evening Instagram livestreams:“For now, we’ll return at night with our live shows from my account—yours is unlucky.”

The big highlight is the return of La Pennicanza, the Radio2 program that aired briefly in June. Fiorello emphasized that nothing will change:“It’s not a new program, it’s the same one we did before—La Pennicanza. We only did it for 15 days, we can’t stop like that. It must stay as it is; no one should come with new ideas. These are tough times, so we need to bring some lightness back.”

Fiorello closed with a wink to Rai’s recent acquisition of Ok, il prezzo è giusto:“When I read that Rai is buying Ok, il prezzo è giusto, I said to myself we had to return. Radio2, wait for us. We’ll be there in October.”
