Warner Bros. Discovery has announced its autumn 2025 programming slate for its children’s channels K2 and Frisbee, available free-to-air on digital terrestrial, and Cartoon Network and Boomerang, available on Sky’s pay-TV platform. The new season includes a mix of comedy, animated series, and animal-themed shows.
K2 (channel 41) will launch new episodes of Maca & Roni on 8 September, featuring the adventures of Dr. Albert and his clumsy assistants, Maca the cat and Roni the penguin. September will also see the debut of La Banda del Carrello, set in an imaginative supermarket world that comes to life after closing hours. On 22 September, K2 will premiere Let’s Go con JoEnglish, a new series in which JoEnglish, an English teacher, unexpectedly finds himself giving entertaining language lessons to a children’s musical class.
Frisbee (channel 44) will introduce Piggy Builders – Maialini Costruttori on 9 September. The series follows siblings Cornelia, Cesar, and Charlie, who share a passion for building and problem-solving. From 16 September, Metamostri will return with new episodes, alongside Vida la Vet, about a 10-year-old veterinarian in an animal community, both airing in the daily “Merenda Canterina” slot.
Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network +1 (Sky channels 607 and 608) will continue their Gumball-themed campaign. From 18 to 27 September, Cartoon Network +1 will host the pop-up “Lo straordinario canale di Gumball,” airing all six seasons of the series plus two spin-offs. On 6 October, The Strange and Wonderful World of Gumball will debut. The annual “CN LEGO Days” will run from 31 October to 9 November, featuring 24/7 programming of popular Lego series including Ninjago Dragon Rising, DreamZzz, and Friends: The New Chapter.
Boomerang (Sky channel 609) will reintroduce Il Mondo di Barney on 1 September, tackling various topics for young viewers with the help of the cheerful pink dinosaur. On 29 September, Simone, an energetic and curious rabbit, will return with new episodes.
