At a time when the media industry is undergoing radical shifts powered by artificial intelligence, decentralization, and an urgent need for authentic leadership, HerBizz International 2025 delivered a rare combination: substance, vision, and the power of female-driven innovation.
Held in Vienna (April 28, 2025) under the energizing theme “From Vision to Victory,” the event brought together a vibrant network of founders, creatives, tech leaders, and media experts who are not only navigating the future but actively shaping it. Organized as a hybrid between thought-leadership summit and networking powerhouse, HerBizz stood out for its cross-industry lens — merging AI, Web3, content, ethics, and equity into one cohesive conversation.
But the real headline? The arrival of Generation Beta — and the bold prediction that these digitally native children, born after 2020, will redefine everything we know about content consumption, storytelling, and media innovation.
The Beta Generation Takes Center Stage
At the session titled “The Future Starts Today: Beta Babies Born to Disrupt, Impact, and Redefine Tomorrow” captured the urgency and excitement surrounding this generational shift. Leading the panel, Inga Alika, Founder of Alika Media & Tech, drew a sharp distinction between past and present innovation cycles:“This is the first time in history where seven generations are interacting with media at once — from the Silent Generation to Generation Beta. But Gen Beta won’t adapt to tech — they’ll expect tech to adapt to them. Innovation must anticipate, not react.”
That sense of urgency was echoed by Victoria Davies, Managing Director of Accelerate Consulting and former SVP of Warner Bros. Discovery, who emphasized that the future of storytelling will hinge on participation, not passive viewing:“Audiences don’t want monologues anymore — they want co-authorship. This means rethinking how we build content, how we engage users, and even how we define ‘success’ across platforms.”
Jan Frelek, Co-founder of media-tech company Backscreen, offered a succinct closing line that struck a chord with the crowd:“You can’t future-proof media unless you design it with — not just for — the next generation.”
AI, Web3 and What Comes Next
Beyond generational insights, the program took a deep dive into the structural shifts reshaping creative industries — from AI-powered digital twins that could become everyday decision-making tools, to Web3 applications that promise fairer ownership models for creators and startups.
With speakers like Ramona Bordea Nazarov (AverisAI) and Walter Moesenbacher (Digital Assets Association Austria), the event explored how Vienna is positioning itself as a rising hub for female-led tech ventures, especially in blockchain, DeFi, and privacy-driven AI.
Another key highlight came from the intersection of leadership and mindset. In a world that often prizes performance over progress, several speakers pushed for a new leadership model — one rooted in emotional intelligence, strategic patience, and trust. Martina Ernst, founder of FairEqualSolutions, offered a practical tool — the “salary sandwich” method — to help professionals negotiate their worth with confidence, clarity, and fairness.
