Sky Brings Tempting Fortune to Italy with New Adaptation Money Road

Sky has officially announced Money Road – Every Temptation Has a Price, the first Italian adaptation of the international reality format Tempting Fortune, recognized as one of the most compelling global titles of recent years. Already launched in several countries—including a successful run in the UK, where season two is set to premiere soon—this bold new adventure now lands in Italy, joining Sky’s top entertainment titles. The show will debut soon on Sky and be available for streaming on NOW.

Produced by Blu Yazmine, Money Road is currently being filmed in the lush and unforgiving Malaysian jungle. The format combines physical endurance, psychological tension, and strategic choices, offering a raw and immersive experience. Twelve participants—ordinary people from different walks of life, ages, and social backgrounds—are placed in an extreme environment with minimal resources. Their mission: complete a demanding multi-stage trek while resisting luxurious temptations that are designed to challenge their willpower. Each temptation has a price, deducted from the final jackpot. The group must decide whether to prioritize individual comfort or preserve the prize money for the collective good. Some temptations are public, others secret—heightening the social dynamics and trust issues within the group. The prize pot is only divided among those who make it to the final stage, raising the stakes at every step.

Beloved sports journalist and commentator Fabio Caressa steps into a brand-new role as host of Money Road, marking his debut in unscripted entertainment. Caressa introduced the show to fans via a video from the set, sharing his excitement for the journey ahead."I’m thrilled to be part of this innovative format," Caressa said. "This experiment mirrors group dynamics I’ve seen in sports—balancing personal ambition and team spirit. It’s entertaining, emotional, and deeply human."

Antonella d’Errico, Executive Vice President Content at Sky Italia, emphasized the strategic importance of the show:"With Money Road, we continue to invest in big, international formats while giving them our signature Sky flair. It’s a powerful, high-stakes game rooted in human behavior, aligned with the success of our flagship shows like X Factor, MasterChef, and Pechino Express. Fabio Caressa brings a fresh perspective, combining empathy, humor, and authenticity—making him the perfect guide for this journey."

Ilaria Dallatana, CEO of Blu Yazmine, added:"We’re proud to collaborate with Sky on this bold production challenge. Money Road is more than a game—it’s a mirror of society, exploring how individuals manage temptation, sacrifice, and the needs of the group."
