Banijay Rights, the distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment, has appointed Sarah Mottershead as VP for the Middle East, Africa, Israel, Greece, and Cyprus.
Based in London, Mottershead will oversee sales strategies for these regions, reporting to Claire Jago, EVP EMEA Sales and Acquisitions. Jago praised Mottershead as a seasoned television executive with extensive expertise.
Previously, Mottershead held roles at STUDIOCANAL TV, Fremantle, and Shine International. She expressed enthusiasm for joining Banijay Rights, known for its globally acclaimed catalogue, including Survivor, MasterChef, and Peaky Blinders.
Banijay Rights is led by CEO Cathy Payne and represents a diverse, world-class programming portfolio.
