Iberseries & Platino Industria to Celebrate its Fifth Edition from September 30 to October 3, 2025
The fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, the foremost international event for professionals in the Spanish- and Portuguese-language audiovisual industry, will be organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA. This event will once again take place at the Matadero Madrid cultural center from September 30 to October 3, 2025.

Supported by the Madrid City Council, the Community of Madrid, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, and sponsored by Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid, Iberseries & Platino Industria stands as a significant meeting point for industry professionals. The event draws producers, distributors, buyers, sales agents, writers, creators, filmmakers, screenwriters, showrunners, platforms, broadcasters, studios, talent, executives, and key decision-makers from the audiovisual sector. Financial entities, investment funds, and organizations involved in tourism, education, and audiovisual-impact technology will also participate, fostering a comprehensive industry network.

This upcoming edition will continue to offer a platform to explore current trends, showcase Spanish- and Portuguese-language films and series, foster new business opportunities, and encourage co-productions and content commercialization. The event aims to strengthen projects and generate new partnerships and synergies within the industry.

As a global benchmark for Ibero-American production, Iberseries & Platino Industria brought together over 2,600 professionals from 50 countries in its last edition. With 1,000 companies represented and more than 120 activities, including 56 panels—featuring conferences, keynotes, spotlights, roundtables, masterclasses, and talks—the event saw participation from over 220 leading executives and influential figures. Media coverage included more than 200 journalists.

The Ibero-American Audiovisual Market (MAI) hosted 40 exhibitor stands and executive tables, where 189 new projects were presented, alongside 22 screenings, including exclusive and public sessions. The screenings featured premieres and previews of series and films produced by studios, channels, platforms, and sales agents for over 180 buyers and commissioners from 30 different countries.

The fifth edition will introduce numerous new features within an extensive program that will once again include Conferences, Keynotes, Spotlights, Iberscreenings, the MAI market area, Co-production and Financing Forum, Pitch Sessions for Platforms and Producers, Training Workshops, sessions highlighting cinema as an educational tool for audiovisual literacy, and diverse networking sessions.
