Award-winning visual content production company Distortion Studios has recently acquired and outfitted state-of-the-art studios in Bristol, the esteemed UNESCO City of Film. Spanning 200 square meters, these studios are equipped to cater to producers across various industries, including television, film, advertising, music, corporate, and events. Leveraging cutting-edge Virtual Production technology and the formidable Unreal Engine, producers can now craft original intellectual property with unparalleled creativity.

This groundbreaking initiative, made possible with support from Creative UK and in collaboration with iMAG Displays, marks the establishment of Bristol and the South West's first permanent Virtual Production studio. Spearheaded by a multiple award-winning creative team, comprising seasoned Unreal Engine experts and immersive digital arts specialists, this studio stands at the forefront of creative and technological innovation.

Under the leadership of veteran Studio Manager Pete Martin, Distortion Studios boasts a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge equipment. This includes an impressive array such as an 11x4m curved LED Volume, ROE Black Pearl 2 V2 LED panels, 2x2x3m mobile LED panels, Stype RedSpy tracking system, Stage Precision, Pixera Media Servers, and Brompton processing.

In an exciting development, Distortion Studios will open its doors to delegates attending the Creative Cities Convention, hosted by Kirsty Wark in Bristol on April 23rd and 24th. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on demonstrations and informative discussions in small groups.
