First topics announced for Monte-Carlo Television Festival’s Business Content Debate

The 62nd edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival takes place on 16th-20th June 2023. This year’s event will see an extended Business Content component bringing together experts from all areas of the global content business, together with professionals seeking to join in discussions with their peers and those interested in learning more about current issues facing international programming across all elements of the business.

Registration to the Pass Pro will give access to the Festival’s Business Content sessions and networking events, enabling participants to join an exceptional line-up of high-level professionals who are shaping the future of television. An exciting programme of intimate one-on-ones, inspirational keynotes and engaging panel discussions is currently being curated to address content creation, production, distribution, digital and the evolving viewing experiences taking place throughout the world.

Also included in Pass Pro registration is Festival Connect, a unique networking tool that facilitates exclusive meetings with leading industry figures attending the Festival who are registered on the platform, plus Business Content networking drinks to continue the discussions between speakers and attendees following sessions. Pass Pro is available at a cost of only 180 € through www.tvfestival.com.

Topics to be showcased with the Business Content programme in 2023 include, among others: sustainable production; international co-production and distribution; OTT, streaming, FAST Channels and social media; diversity and cultural focus; spotlight on young content creators, as well as the transformation of factual programming.
