Basic Lead has decided to interrupt preparations for the DISCOP Miami event scheduled for the end of January. Organizers stated that a tough financial setback at the end of last year has forced them to close registrations and postpone the event.
“A certain level of negligence ended up causing an ‘industrial accident’ and the last-minute cancellation of DISCOP Kigali,” said Patrick Zuchowicki, general manager of Basic Lead, about the DISCOP event scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, on November 29-December 1, 2022.
Zuchowicki then added, “After accumulating losses and operating on a shoe-string budget for three pandemic years, it is time to take a step back and revisit our business model.”
