The biographical series Isabel, based on the life of the most widely read author in Spanish in the world, originally from Megamedia Chile and distributed by MGE, has been nominated in the TV Movie/Series category at the International Emmy Awards. The awards gala will take place on November 21 in New York.

Megamedia Chile's bioseries, Isabel, the intimate story of author Isabel Allende, is a story about forgiveness and overcoming pain to achieve success, which also shows the passion and risks taken by a woman who was willing to break all the socially accepted standards of his time to pursue happiness. ISABEL was produced by Isabel Miquel and directed by Rodrigo Bazaes and stars Daniela Ramírez (Prófugos, Inés del alma mía) as Isabel, Néstor Cantillana (Prófugos) as Isabel Miguel Frías' first husband, Rodolfo Pulgar (La Negra Ester) as Isabel's paternal grandfather, Agustín Llona, and Rosario Zamora (Doña Beija and Felicidad) as Isabel's mother, Francisca Llona.
Since its premiere, ISABEL has been a series not only acclaimed by the audience but also by industry critics. Prior to this important nomination, the series was nominated at the 2022 Platinum Awards for Best Series, and Daniela Ramírez, the talented actress who plays the role of Isabel Allende in the series, was the winner of the 2022 Platinum Award for Best Series Actress, and in 2021 he received an Honorable Mention at the Trieste International Festival, Italy, for his great role.

The Isabel bioseries premiered with great success in the United States, through HBO Max, and has been broadcast in Latin America, through Amazon Prime Video and Lifetime Latin America, and MGE - international distributor of the Chilean Megamedia catalog – has been in negotiations for its transmission in Spain and in other countries of the European continent.
