The eighth edition of MIA Market will be held in Rome from 11th to 15th October with an enriched Co-Production Market and Pitching Forum featuring a brand new Animation strand to be added to the pre-existing ones dedicated to : Drama Series, Documentaries (Feature, Series and one-offs) and Films.
With a focus on the European and International film, drama, animation, doc, and factual scenes, MIA offers a wide range of specific programs for the whole industry, featuring dedicated Co-production Market and Pitching Forums, Showcases, tailor-made Networking Activities as well as a lavish line-up of Conferences tackling the latest and hottest topics among industry insiders.
Animation producers looking for high-profile financial partners and co-production deals will have the perfect opportunity to showcase their projects before an audience of industry professionals and top international players from Global Studios, OTT Platforms and Broadcasters, Production and Distribution companies as well as Agents and Financiers.
Our 2022 Co-Production Market and Pitching Forum is open to submissions of all genres and formats, intended for theatrical distribution, television broadcasting and digital streaming.
All the shortlisted producers will be invited to present their projects next October, participating in a five-days of meetings and business networking at MIA’s Headquarter in Rome.

Eligible projects for the Animation Pitching Forum are: Animation series, Animation stand-alone specials and Animation feature films, from any country and nationality, original projects of outstanding artistic value, aimed at international distribution and broadcast/release, with potential on linear broadcasting and/or on demand digital streaming (Animation series & Animation stand-alone specials), theatrical release (Animation feature films), and worldwide distribution.
Producers can submit their projects until July 25th 2022 on MIA website.
