The series is produced by Indiana Production and Rai Fiction, starring Stefano Accorsi in the main role of the judge.

The series has been adapted in USA for Showtime on December, 2020 and it's based on the Israeli TV series Kvodo (Hebrew: כבודו). The series has been licenced in several territories like Russia, Turkey, Spain, France, Germany, India and in USA has been renewed for a second season.

The series was also the winner - Grand Prix, Series Mania 2017 | Lille, France and achieved several other awards around the world.

In the original version, the life of brilliant judge Micha Alkoby is heading down a promising path, with a promotion coming soon. It all changes after his teenage son, Shay, is involved in a hit-and-run, in which he’s the guilty party. Just as Micah is about to turn Shay in, he learns the victim is a member of a crime family, the kind that runs its own system of justice.
