Caroline Kusser has joined MEDIAWAN & LEONINE Studios as Executive Vice President International Co-Production on January 1, 2022. She is also appointed EVP World Sales at LEONINE Studios.
Kusser is one of the most high-profile figures in the international TV co-production and licensing business and was until recently Executive Vice President Co-Production & Distribution at Fremantle Media International. In her new roles, she is responsible for all TV co-production activities on an international and European level within MEDIAWAN & LEONINE Studios and will manage and coordinate fiction co-productions across the more than 60 production companies belonging to MEDIAWAN & LEONINE Studios. She is also instrumental in driving the development of LEONINE Studios’ global distribution. Kusser will be based in the newly opened US-office in Los Angeles.
Eden Rock Media’s Thomas Augsberger who has been LEONINE Studios’ overall US consultant will continue to advise LEONINE Studios in the international feature film business.

Before joining Fremantle Media International, where she was involved in closing co-production deals with Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Starz and NatGeo, among others, Caroline Kusser worked for more than ten years at Red Arrow International in the US, most recently as Senior Vice President. Prior to that, she established her own distribution business under the label Carokusser, serving a number of high-profile clients, including ZDF Enterprises. Her previous positions include Bavaria Media Television and Beta Film in Germany.
