Thomas J. Ciampa appointed as Country Manager, Italy, Spain and Portugal, following the departure of Barbara Salabè
WarnerMedia announced the appointment of Thomas J. Ciampa as Country Manager, Italy, Spain and Portugal, following the departure of Barbara Salabè. In his new role, Ciampa will take on responsibility for the development and execution of the company's strategy and optimization of all commercial and group marketing activities in the three countries.

Reporting to Priya Dogra, President, WarnerMedia EMEA & Asia (excluding China), Ciampa’s remit includes theatrical distribution, local theatrical productions, content licensing, home entertainment, consumer products, as well as ad sales and affiliate distribution for the WarnerMedia channels and streaming services. He will also continue to manage distribution of Sony Pictures’ movies in Italy. Lastly, he will work closely with WarnerMedia Studios & Networks in Burbank as well as with HBO Max.

“Thomas has a deep understanding of our businesses and the brands and franchises that have so much resonance with our fans across these regions. He also brings a strong commitment to our distribution partners as well as to the creative community. Thomas is a dynamic leader with an impressive track record and will be an integral part of my leadership team,” Priya Dogra said.

Ciampa has worked for WarnerMedia in a variety of senior management roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Theatrical Distribution, Italy, Spain and Portugal and Italian Local Productions. The executive first joined Warner Bros. in 2002 as Sales Manager, having started his career at Warner Village UK.

WarnerMedia also announced the leadership team for Italy, Spain and Portugal, reporting to Ciampa: Carlos Prada was promoted to Vice President, Theatrical Distribution, Italy and Spain, adding to his current remit overseeing theatrical distribution in Spain; while Andrea Vidoni, Angel Yllera, Fabrizio Ioli, Andy Conklin, Pablo Nogueroles, and Marco Berardi will continue in their respective roles.
