After the successful first season of The Box of Talent on VTM in Belgium, Be-Entertainment has now partnered up with German producer Seapoint to bring the sensational hit format to Germany.
In this brand-new talent competition, two of the judges can't hear the contestant sing, while the other two can't see them perform. Not, that is, until all the judges have pressed their buttons. The singers must convince the judges and the studio audience to grant them one of the golden seats that will take them to the next episode.
The primetime Saturday night show maintained its high ratings in Belgium throughout its 11-part series. Late last month, the live final captured more than 1 million viewers, and a massive 64.6% market share (18-44, Live +VOSDAL). The show, including its online spin-off, was also the #1 most-watched program on the AVOD platform VTM GO, where it increased average viewership by over 500%!
