Gil Formats, Tel Aviv-based content creator and distributer, has unveiled a new unscripted format the company picked-up for international distribution.
The Flavor of Home is a new and original food traveling format, developed and co-produced by Spanish prodcos Prointel and It’s OK with Korean prodco, Cenmedia.
In each self-contained episode a world-renowned celebrity Chef will meet 3 individuals from one motherland that set their homes in another country many years ago, and that all of them are longing to taste again a specific dish from their native land.
The chef will embark on an amazing culinary journey to their country of origin to find food experts and local chefs that will teach him how to make those special dishes. Eventually the chef will return home and will try to recreate the dishes for the 3 individuals that miss them so much.
