Since that day, Mediaset broadcast the daily soap from Monday to Friday at 1.45pm. The series grown into one of the most popular dramas enjoying the lives of the Forrester's Family.
Set in Los Angeles and centered around the Forrester family and their fashion business, Forrester Creations, there are still two remaining original cast members from the first episode: John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). Over the years, B&B has won many Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series three times (in 2009, 2010, and 2011).
The soap was broadcast in more than 100 countries and in Italy received an average share of 15.1% and 2.8 million viewers.
