On Sunday April 19, Rai 1 rerun episodes of drama series L’Allieva 2 (eng. The Pupil) based on the novel of Alessia Gazzola, won the prime time slot with 4.161 viewers (15.5%). As the set of the 3rd season was blocked due to Covid-19 emergency Rai 1 decided to broadcast the old series. At the moment, the series has been sold abroad among others in France, Germany, Japan, Spain and Turkey. Canale 5 talk show Live - Non È la D’Urso (produced by Videonews) recorded 2.632 viewers and 12.9% of share. Rai 2 talk show Che Tempo Che Fa (produced by L’Officina) scored 8.7%-8.2% while talk Non è l’Arena on La7 scored 6.1%-6.8%.

On Monday April 20, Rai 1 still leader with the rerun detective series Il Commissario Montalbano – Il gioco delle tre carte (Ita. Inspector Montalbano) which won the prime time slot with 5.904 viewers (21.3%) while Canale 5 movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald scored 3.444 viewers (14.3%). Rai 3 news current news show Report scored 2.863 viewers (9.9%) and Rete 4 talk show Quarta Repubblica achieved 1.6m/7.3%. In the same slot Rai 2 rerun gameshow Stasera Tutto È Possibile (fr. Vendredi, tout est permis) scored 1.3m/5.2%. In day time, dating and talk show Uomini & Donne (produced by Fascino PGT) is back on Canale 5 with a new refreshed version due to Covid-19 situation. In a daily stripped show (Mon-Fri) two hosts read messages from different people who’d like to meet and find love; as usual the voiceover of Maria De Filippi comments the stories. The first episode scored 3.088.000 viewers and 16.5% of share.

On Tuesday April 21, Rai 1 rerun music concert Stasera Laura – Ho Creduto in un Sogno won the prime time slot with 3.447 viewers (13.3%) while Canale 5 rerun miniseries Karol - A Man Who Became a Pope (produced by Taodue) scored 2.196 viewers (9.9%); the premiere of the drama aired by Canale 5 in 2005, scored over 12.5 million viewers (over 43% of share) becoming the most viewed Mediaset fiction ever. Rai 2 celebrated the Earth Day with the documentary Earth – Un giorno straordinario (produced by Koch Media and BBC Earth Films) which scored 1.162 viewers (4.1%). Talks #Cartabianca (Rai 3), DiMartedì (La7) and Fuori Dal Coro (Rete 4) scored 5.2%, 6.6% and 6.8%. On Italia 1 talk Le Iene Show is back after Covid19 emergency with 2.669 viewers (12.4%). Sky Uno prime time late night show EPCC Live (produced by Fremantle) recorded 281.400 viewers and 0.7% of share considering +1 channel.

On Wednesday April 22, Canale 5 rerun talent show Tu Si Que Vales won the prime time slot with 3.830 viewers (17.6%) while Rai 1 rerun documentary Meraviglie – La Penisola dei Tesori scored 3.284 viewers (12.2%). Rai 2 movie The Healer (ita. Quello Che Veramente Importa) scored 2.703 viewers (9.7%). Rai 3 talk show Chi l’ha visto? 8.5%. Free to air channel 20 premiered the miniseries 22.11.63 based on the homonym novel of Steven King (produced by Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television) which scored 406.000 viewers and 1.5% of share.

On Thursday April 23, Rai 1 premiered new drama series Vivi e Lascia Vivere (co-produced by Bibi Film Tv and Rai Fiction) which won prime time slot with 7.126 viewers and 26% of share. Canale 5 movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides achieved 2.551 viewers (10.5%). Rete 4 talk Dritto e Rovescio 7.6% and La7 talk Piazza Pulita 6.9%. Tv8 rerun Guinness world record show La Notte dei Record scored 1.7%. On 20 miniseries 22.11.63 scored 1.3%. Sky Uno premiered new edition of cooking Alessandro Borghese - 4 Ristoranti (produced by Banijay Italia) achieved 472.000 viewer (1.6%), 693.749 viewers considering reruns, on demand and +1 channel. At 11:30pm, Rai 2 premiered new show Revolution – Stories from the Future (Branded Entertainment content produced by Next14 for Peugeot in collaboration with Rai Pubblicità) which started with 301.000 viewers (1.9%).

On Friday April 24, Rai 1 broadcast docufilm Pavarotti which won the prime time slot with 4.036 viewers (14.7%) while Canale 5 rerun entertainment show Paperissima (produced by R.T.I.) scored a good 3.078 viewers (11.2%). On Italia 1 The Twilight Saga: Eclipse achieved 2.229 viewers (8.3%). Talks Quarto Grado (Rete 4) 7.1% and Propaganda Live (La 7) 6.8%. TV8 rerun talent Italia’s Got Talent – Best of (produced by Fremantle) 2.7%, Nove rerun one man show Fratelli di Crozza – Il meglio di quando si stava meglio (produced by ITV Movie) 1.7%. On Sky Atlantic (in simulcast on Sky Cinema) the international financial thriller series Devils (ita. Diavoli, produced by Lux Vide, Orange Studio, Sky Italia and Sky Studios; distributed internationally by NBCUniversal) scored 610.006 viewers in the first episode and 537.687 viewers in the second (considering reruns and +1 channel).

On Saturday April 25, Canale 5 broadcast rerun episode of variety Ciao Darwin – Terre desolate which won the prime time slot with 4.795 viewers (19.2%) beating another rerun show on Rai 1, the best of one man show Stasera Sogna con Massimo Ranieri scored 3.272 viewers (13.3%). Rai 2 talk Petrolio Antivirus and Rai 3 comedy series I Topi (produced by Rai Fiction and Wildside) scored the same share: 4.7%. Rete 4 cult movie with Sofia Loren La Ciociara scored 4.1%
