On Tuesday, July 17 very big debut on Rai1 for The Good Doctor that won prime time slot with 5.230.000 viewers and an audience share of 27.8%. The series is based on korean series Good Doctor broadcasted by KBS2 in 2013. The series follows Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome from the mid-size city of Casper, Wyoming, where he had a troubled childhood. He relocates to San Jose, California, to work at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Freddie Highmore in the main role of Shaun Murphy.
