Vuulr Takes Rights Trading Online With New VuulrOS White-Label Platform
Vuulr is taking its B2B rights transaction technology directly to content owners with the launch of VuulrOS, a new white-label solution that gives sellers their own branded, always-on sales website and infrastructure. Launching at MIPCOM, VuulrOS is built on the technology behind Vuulr.com and provides companies with an exclusive transactional environment under their own brand. Buyers can discover and screen content, search catalogs and avails, make and negotiate offers and manage rights.
The solution is designed to help distributors and content owners move their rights sales online while maintaining their existing buyer relationships. It is intended to complement personal sales activity while allowing sellers to reach new buyers and territories without the investment required to build and maintain their own technology.

Ben Flint, Chief Commercial Officer at Vuulr, says: “The way content is bought has changed. Buyers want to be able to discover, screen and assess titles when it suits them, at any hour and wherever they are in the world. But relationships still matter. A fully automated VuulrOS means our clients don’t have to choose between owning their buyer relationships and having a modern, fully automated sales infrastructure. They get both, under their own name, running 24/7.” He adds: “This isn’t about replacing sales teams with technology either. We want to empower everyone, by removing the totally unnecessary friction around the process: our mantra is ‘no more spreadsheets’! A seller of any size can effectively put its entire business online – its brand, its catalog, its screening capability, its rights and deal-making – working using our tech as essential, useful software for sales teams, supporting everything being done already.”

VuulrOS is designed for companies ranging from independent producers with small catalogs and creators with growing short-form slates to major distributors with hundreds or thousands of TV and film titles. The white-label service provides a 24/7 searchable online catalog, unlimited secure screening rooms and video management, advanced content search and filtering, live rights management for online and offline deals, and an integrated offer and negotiation module. Sellers can also manage commercial parameters including price floors, minimum guarantees, revenue-share offers and FAST bundles. Built-in chat, automated notifications and contract-expiry alerts are designed to support transactions and ongoing rights activity, with the service maintained and supported by Vuulr’s team. Vuulr is also developing additional automation features for VuulrOS, including an automated sales agent with human controls, pricing recommendations, and deeper listing and offer analytics. Supply-chain functionality covering delivery, localisation, billing and reporting is planned with partners for 2027.

Flint continues: “For years, the industry has talked about digital transformation while a surprising amount of the business of rights trading is still labouring with emails, spreadsheets and manually maintained systems. I think there is now a real opportunity to upgrade that – and we know from previous trials with an early whitelabel product that this is a meaningful solution. A few years on, with improved tech, VuulrOS will be a gamechanger. It lets companies start moving their businesses online immediately, but importantly, they remain in control – these are their titles, their buyers and their deals. We don’t want to interfere with a client’s existing business; just help both sides to move at the speed of today.”
