A 2025 romantic comedy directed by Paolo Genovese, exploring the inner workings of the mind during a first date. Piero, a recently divorced philosophy teacher, and Lara, a woman recovering from a disappointing relationship, meet in a bar and spend the evening at her apartment — while their respective inner voices (Rational, Romantic, Eros and the Professor for him; Alpha, Tinker, Spark and Juliet for her) battle it out in an original take on self-doubt, desire and human connection.
