Millimages is heading to MIPCOM with two original series developed in partnership with M6/GULLI: Benny and the Bin Buddies (52x7’), now in production, and Calypso (52x11’), currently in development. The two projects underline Millimages’ focus on developing original, internationally minded animation across different age groups and formats, while further strengthening its long-standing relationship with M6/GULLI.

Currently in production, Benny and the Bin Buddies is a colourful 3D animated comedy aimed at upper preschool audiences. Created by Fabrice Ravier, the series follows Rodrigo, Maddy and Crumble, three determined raccoons and garbage collectors, alongside Benny, their expressive garbage truck, as they make their daily rounds through the quirky community of Nicelittletown. Built around physical comedy, humorous dialogue and character-driven storytelling, the series is being introduced to international partners at MIPCOM as Millimages continues to develop its international financing and distribution partnerships.

Also developed with M6, Calypso is a 2D animated fantasy comedy adventure aimed at kids. The series centres on Calypso, an 11-year-old girl living on a vibrant island whose dreams have an unusual habit of becoming reality. Combining comedy, fantasy and coming-of-age themes, Calypso explores universal experiences through the unpredictable logic of dreams, while establishing a distinctive universe and strong visual identity.
