The deal forms part of Rainbow’s broader growth and diversification strategy and strengthens the group’s activities across digital content, the creator economy and branded entertainment. The transaction follows the investment in Rainbow by TEC Movie, an independent vehicle backed by investors participating in The Equity Club initiative in partnership with Mediobanca. Through the integration of 247 Production, Rainbow aims to generate new synergies across audiovisual production, creative development, talent management and brand-led projects.
247 Production has built its business around a combination of creative and production expertise, talent and creator management, branded content and original format development. In 2025, the company delivered more than 100 projects and over 3,500 pieces of content, spanning comedy, educational and informative programming, food, music and entertainment.
Nicola Bertona will continue to lead 247 Production, while also taking on the role of Vice President of Strategy & Commercial Development at Rainbow Group, within the TV, Digital and Talent division headed by Gian Paolo Tagliavia. In the new role, Bertona will focus on identifying and developing business opportunities in digital entertainment.

Bertona described the agreement as a major growth opportunity for both 247 Production and its partners, adding that the objective is to establish Rainbow as a stronger player in digital content and branded entertainment while continuing to create value for brands and agencies.
Alberto Zilli and Lorenzo Cocco will remain involved in the company as partners, contributing to its strategic development and supporting further expansion in Italy and internationally. Future growth may also include acquisitions and mergers with other companies operating in the digital sector.
