Prime Video Sets Global Premiere For Rock, Paper, Landmine
THE SEVEN has announced the global premiere of Rock, Paper, Landmine (Japanese title: Landmine Glico), a live-action adaptation of Yugo Aosaki’s award-winning mystery novel. The Prime Original drama will premiere exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on November 13, 2026. Starring Nana Mori and Aju Makita, the series is based on Glico with Landmines, which swept an unprecedented nine major mystery awards in Japan, making it one of the country’s most acclaimed mystery novels.

Directed by Kazuaki Seki, the drama combines a distinctive pop visual style with a carefully constructed story of strategy, deception and psychological warfare. At the centre of Rock, Paper, Landmine are familiar childhood games such as rock-paper-scissors, Glico and Red Light, Green Light. In the series, however, these seemingly innocent games become high-stakes battles in which young contestants must outwit one another in a dangerous “non-lethal death game.”

The first teaser trailer, also directed by Seki, has now been released, offering a first look at the series’ visual approach and its intense mind games. The footage transforms universally recognisable childhood games into unpredictable contests of strategy and deception, combining Seki’s stylised direction with an increasingly tense battle of wits.

With its combination of mystery, psychological tension and a high-concept premise, Rock, Paper, Landmine will join Prime Video’s global slate in November.
