SLL Expands English-Language Content Development With Canada As Key Production Hub
SLL is strengthening its push into English-language content development, positioning Canada as a strategic base for international co-development and co-production. Since 2024, SLL has been building Canada into a key hub for its North American expansion, establishing relationships with local production companies, creators and content organizations to lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
As part of this strategy, SLL launched the CAPCA (Canada-Asia Co-Production Accelerator) program in 2025 in partnership with RESO (Racial Equity Screen Office), a Canadian non-profit organization. The initiative is designed to foster connections between Canadian and Asian creators and producers and support the development of new projects.

Canada offers SLL access to a mature English-language production ecosystem and the wider North American market, alongside established support mechanisms for international co-productions, including federal and provincial tax incentives. By combining Canada’s production-friendly environment and strong creative network with the IP development capabilities and storytelling expertise that have fueled the global success of Korean content, SLL aims to develop new projects targeting audiences around the world.

Joonsuh Park, CEO of SLL, said, “SLL will continue to expand its global co-creation network. Through the development and co-production of English-language content, we aim to help build a new global content ecosystem capable of competing on the world stage.”
