THE SEVEN has announced the live-action adaptation of Yugo Aosaki’s acclaimed mystery novel Rock, Paper, Landmines, which will premiere exclusively worldwide on Prime Video on November 13, 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories. Described as a next-generation mind-game suspense drama, the series transforms familiar childhood games into high-stakes battles of strategy, deception and psychological warfare.
The original novel has become a landmark of Japan’s contemporary mystery genre, earning an unprecedented nine major awards. Rock, Paper, Landmines follows a group of characters who find themselves caught up in increasingly complex games based on activities such as Red Light, Green Light and Memory. With unexpected rules and elaborate strategies, seemingly innocent games become intense tests of intelligence and nerve.
