Hit musical talent show Popstars is set to return to Argentine television on Monday, August 24 at 9:30 pm, launching simultaneously on Telefe and Disney+.
Hosted by Nico Vázquez, the renewed edition will follow a new group of contestants competing for the chance to become the country’s next major pop band. Participants will be evaluated by a judging panel featuring Nicki Nicole, Ángela Torres and producer Charlie García, while Martín Cirio will join the show as a “spiritual coach”.
The format will also have an expanded digital presence. The official Popstars React will air on Streams Telefe with Sofí Gonet “La Reini”, Juli Poggio and Valen Rizzuti. Gonet will additionally host Mucho más Popstars, an exclusive Disney+ companion show available after each episode.

The new version marks the return of the format to Argentina with a refreshed approach combining linear television, streaming and digital content as it searches for the next generation of Argentine pop stars.
