WildBrain has unveiled Purrfect Pets, a year-long brand campaign celebrating the beloved animal companions of Strawberry Shortcake and her Berry Besties. The initiative will introduce new content, fan experiences and pet-inspired consumer products, while strengthening the franchise's connection with animal lovers through charitable partnerships and social media engagement.
As part of the campaign, WildBrain will expand the Strawberry Shortcake pet accessories and apparel line, with new products scheduled to launch in spring 2027.

Purrfect Pets officially debuted during San Diego Comic-Con weekend with the Purrfect Pets Pawp Up, a pet adoption event hosted at Malibu Farm San Diego in partnership with local rescue organization The Animal Pad. Held along the Seaport Village boardwalk, the free public event welcomed families and their pets while supporting rescue efforts to help dogs find permanent homes.
The activation began with an exclusive Yappy Hour for pet content creators, aimed at promoting pet adoption and responsible ownership across social media. Visitors also enjoyed meet-and-greets with Strawberry Shortcake, themed photo opportunities, interactive activities and giveaways provided by partners including G Mason Group, Velondi's Gupperz, Jay Franco and Treasures Gifted. Special treats were available for both pets and owners, including pet-friendly pupcakes and cookies from Magnolia Bakery.
