Harbour Rights Expands Global Distribution with New Asia and Inflight Deals
Harbour Rights has secured a series of new licensing agreements across Asia and the inflight entertainment sector, spanning science, wildlife, travel, gastronomy and drama programming, while also adding a new Malaysian factual series to its distribution catalogue. Among the latest sales, Phoenix TV acquired the science documentary series Exodus (3x52'), which follows the development of NASA's Artemis program, offering behind-the-scenes access to astronaut training, lunar habitat testing and the next-generation rocket designed to return humans to the Moon.
In South Korea, EBS licensed six wildlife documentaries, acquiring three episodes each from Animal Destinies (3x52') and Nature Sanctuaries (3x52'). The package includes A Lion's Life, The Loneliness of the Leopard, The Three Little Warthogs, Wild Winter in Japan, Wild Tropical Australia and Wild Namibia.

Meanwhile, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific expanded its factual lineup with several food and travel titles, including the latest season of Belly of a Nation (4x52'), which explores Singapore's iconic hawker culture. The broadcaster also picked up Masters of Lemon and Masters of Tofu from the Masters of Savours collection, along with Gulf of Siam, Thai Coastal Beauty from the Flavors series.
Harbour Rights also strengthened its presence in the inflight entertainment market through multiple airline agreements. Oman Air acquired the first two episodes of Korean action-comedy Salon de Holmes together with the premiere episode of the Chinese period drama Legend of Magnate. Air New Zealand licensed the third season of Moontide Fishing (13x26'), while American Airlines selected the wildlife documentary Panda Kingdom (3x52'). Royal Jet opted for a travel and gastronomy package featuring Food That Built Asia – Sushi, Masters of Tea and Looking for Barcelone.

In addition to the new sales, Harbour Rights announced a partnership with Malaysian producer Happy Campers to distribute Tribal Kitchen (6x26'). Hosted by Iman Corinne, the series offers an intimate look at the traditions and evolving culture of Malaysia's Indigenous communities through their food, daily life and local heritage.
