Pulsar Pictures has appointed Melissa Wohl as the company expands its global sales, marketing and distribution services for entertainment clients. Based in New York, Pulsar Pictures said Wohl will help strengthen its international sales and strategic growth activities across film, television and streaming. She brings more than 30 years of experience in content sales, marketing and business development, most recently serving as EVP of Global Content Sales & Distribution at FilmRise, now known as Radial Entertainment.

Founded by Emmy Award-winning executive Sal Scamardo, Pulsar Pictures provides marketing, sales and distribution services across film, television, sports and music content. Its client roster includes Passage Pictures, G.O.A.T.S Enterprises, Iconic Releasing Events and Hawk House Entertainment. Scamardo said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Melissa to the Pulsar Pictures team. Her stellar reputation and deep industry experience will help propel Pulsar to new heights at a time of tremendous change and opportunity.”

The company is currently handling North American sales for feature film Corporate Retreat, directed by Aaron Fisher and starring Alan Ruck, while also overseeing the film’s worldwide marketing campaign ahead of its May 22 North American release. Described as a mix of satire and survival horror, Corporate Retreat features a cast including Ashton Sanders, Odeya Rush, Sasha Lane, Tyler Alvarez and Rosanna Arquette. The film will screen at the Marché du Film in Cannes on May 14 and 15 ahead of its North American theatrical rollout.
