ITV Studios has secured a major unscripted package deal with Warner Bros. Discovery for its Discovery and Discovery Home & Health channels across Latin America. Brokered by Catalina Ramirez, vice president of sales for the US and Latin America at ITV Studios, the agreement covers more than 60 hours of non-scripted programming spanning documentaries, reality and lifestyle content. Titles included in the deal are Worlds Apart from South Shore, Ashley Cain into the Danger Zone from True North Productions, My Mom, Your Dad USA from ITV America and River Monsters from Icon Films.
Ramirez said: “We’re thrilled to continue building our partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery as we continue growing our presence across Latin America and bringing these titles to audiences.” She added: “From River Monsters to My Mom, Your Dad USA, we’re especially excited about how these stories will connect with audiences across the region, where bold and emotional storytelling truly resonates, showcasing the strength and range of ITV Studios’ unscripted offering.”
“ITV Studios has been a valued partner, and we’re delighted to expand our relationship through this agreement. This new content lineup further strengthens our Discovery and Discovery Home & Health Channel offerings, supporting our commitment to delivering diverse, entertaining programming that resonates with our audiences,” commented Hortensia Quadreny, VP Programming USH & Planning Factual & Lifestyle LatAm for Warner Bros. Discovery.
Among the acquired titles is adventure format Worlds Apart, which follows pairs from different generations travelling across Japan while competing for a cash prize. The package also includes the first season of Ashley Cain into the Danger Zone, in which former footballer Ashley Cain explores extreme male cultures and criminal environments around the world.
Dating format My Mom, Your Dad USA is also part of the agreement. The series follows single parents searching for love while their adult children secretly observe and influence their dating experiences.
Also included are three seasons of long-running factual hit River Monsters, fronted by biologist and adventurer Jeremy Wade, alongside lifestyle titles Dream Car Fixers from Wiser Films and Skin A&E from Boom Cymru.
