Keshet International has appointed former Faraway Road and Armoza Formats executive Salomé Peillon as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Reporting to CEO Keren Shahar, Peillon will oversee long-term strategic planning, commercial growth, global content partnerships and rights management. She will also provide maternity cover for Kelly Wright, managing director of distribution, effective immediately.
In the newly created role, Peillon will focus on expanding Keshet International’s global client relationships and driving new business opportunities across international markets, while working closely with the company’s digital, production and distribution teams.
Keshet International’s CEO Keren Shahar says, “Salomé brings a rare combination of commercial instinct and creative vision that’s essential for where our industry is heading. As we expand into new business areas, her expertise will be key to unlocking new revenue streams and building future-focused partnerships. She has a strong understanding of how to connect content, platforms and audiences in a rapidly evolving landscape, and will play a central role in positioning Keshet International for its next phase of global growth.”
Salomé Peillon adds, “Keshet International has an outstanding global reputation for premium storytelling and innovation, and I’m excited to join at such a pivotal moment. There is a clear opportunity to build on that success by expanding into new areas of growth, from digital-first content to emerging formats, while strengthening partnerships across key markets. I look forward to working with Keren and the wider team to drive new business and help shape the company’s next chapter.”
The appointment comes as Keshet International continues to expand its scripted and unscripted slate. Recent projects include Netflix’s Lovesick, starring Claire Danes and showrun by Sarah Treem, Apple TV+ drama Unconditional, and a first-look scripted deal with Sony Pictures Television. On the unscripted side, the company is also growing its formats pipeline following Netflix co-production Off Road, with new titles including Elevator Pitch, recently ordered by Record News in Brazil, and celebrity format Who Wants to Start?, created by Assi Azar and Anat Stalinsky for Keshet 12.
