BIG Media and Insurgence Roll Out 60 YouTube Documentary Channels
BIG Media partners with Insurgence to launchmore than 60 YouTube channels featuring over 2,000 hours of documentary content drawn from its extensive catalogue. The initiative marks a major step in BIG Media’s YouTube distribution strategy, with new programming set to launch weekly across all channels. The channels will feature hundreds of documentaries and series across key genres including science and engineering, wildlife, crime and paranormal, food, home and garden, fishing and hunting, and history and war. The partnership is expected to scale significantly, with plans to expand to more than 300 channels localized in ten languages.

The rollout is powered by Insurgence StudiOS, the company’s proprietary platform designed to automate content delivery, channel creation, metadata management and AI-driven editorial curation. The system has already supported the launch of numerous independent YouTube channels, collectively reaching 25 million subscribers and generating 250 million monthly views across more than 7,000 films.
