NEM Dubrovnik 2026 has revealed its full agenda, positioning the upcoming edition as its most ambitious to date, with a stronger market presence and a sharpened focus on the forces reshaping the TV industry. The event will gather more than 300 companies, over 200 buyers from the CEE region and upwards of 150 exhibitors across three market zones, marking a 50% market expansion compared to last year. More than 80 speakers will contribute to a program designed to reflect structural shifts across content, distribution and business models.
The agenda is built around key industry themes including transformation, monetization and evolving audience behavior. The opening session, NEM Kickoff Three Media Trends powered by the European Audiovisual Observatory, will explore partnerships between broadcasters and streamers, investment gaps between CEE and Western Europe, and the impact of consolidation.
Industry consolidation remains a central topic, with sessions such as What Mega Mergers Mean for the Future of Media examining how scale, cost optimization and content strategies are reshaping competition and regulation. Distribution will also be in focus, including discussions on hybrid models in The Hybrid Future of TV Distribution in 2026, addressing the balance between OTT growth and the continued relevance of satellite.
New approaches to content distribution and monetization will be explored through panels on micro-drama, YouTube as a distribution channel, AI-driven content discovery, and anti-piracy strategies, reflecting how platforms and technologies are redefining audience engagement and value creation.
Leadership will play a key role across the program, with keynote sessions from Central European Media Enterprises CEO Sam Barnett, Fremantle’s CEO Commercial & International Jens Richter, and Antenna Group CEO Henning Tewes. Additional panels will examine decision-making dynamics and the importance of long-term buyer-seller relationships.
The event will also feature exclusive screenings and showcases from major international players including A+E Global Media, Fremantle, Globo, ITV Studios, Lionsgate, Paramount Global Content Distribution and The Walt Disney Company.
Alongside the conference program, networking remains a core pillar, with multiple industry events hosted across Dubrovnik by leading companies and organizations, creating opportunities for deal-making and partnerships.
