Banijay Entertainment has announced the adaptation of Passe-Muraille (The Man Who Walked Through Wall), produced by Marathon Studio and Terence Films for France Télévisions. The six-part drama, currently in production, will be distributed internationally by Banijay Rights. Written by Mathieu Missoffe and Julien Gallet, and directed by Kasia Adamik (Absentia, Kabul), the series reimagines Marcel Aymé’s classic tale for a contemporary audience.

The drama follows Sam Mansouri, a 28-year-old trapped in a dehumanising telemarketing job, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers he can walk through walls. However, before he can take advantage of his newfound ability, he witnesses the murder of his older brother. Forced to abandon his previous life, Sam embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind the crime—while also confronting deeper questions about his own identity.
