In each episode (35 episodes), two teams of ten participants each are abandoned on a remote tropical island – equipped with only the bare
essentials. Over several weeks, they must secure food, build shelter, develop strategies and function as a
group. The challenges are real: physical strain, mental pressure, social tension and strategic decisionmaking shape daily life.
The format is hosted by Detlef D! Soost, who appears on SPORT1 not only as a presenter but as a mentor and
guide throughout the experiment. His experience as a coach, his discipline and his keen sense for personal
development make him the ideal choice for a format that brings human limits into focus.
A diverse cast of contestants promises excitement and dynamic storytelling
