CONECTA Magaluf–Mallorca has opened its international calls for fiction projects for its 2026 edition, which will take place from May 25 to 28 on the beach of Magaluf, in Calvià, Mallorca. The upcoming edition will mark the event’s 10th anniversary.
To kick off the anniversary year, CONECTA will unveil the first details of its 2026 edition at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin, where it will host an exclusive presentation and networking event on February 13. Professional accreditations for the market are also now open.
Over the past decade, CONECTA has positioned itself as a key international co-production market focused on serialized fiction and feature-length projects for television and digital platforms. The event brings together producers, broadcasters, streamers, sales agents and international investors, with a strong emphasis on projects designed for international audiences.
As part of its EFM presence, CONECTA will host an industry gathering to officially present CONECTA Magaluf–Mallorca 2026. Speakers at the event will include Pedro Vidal Montserrat, Secretary of Culture and Sports of the Government of the Balearic Islands; Juan Antonio Amengual, Mayor of Calvià; and Géraldine Gonard, Director of CONECTA.
For the 2026 edition, CONECTA has opened four international project calls, all focused on fiction in development. These include drama series and miniseries for television with between four and 13 episodes per season; comedy series and miniseries for television; vertical fiction series or micro-dramas created for mobile-first, 9:16 consumption; and fiction feature films conceived for direct release on streaming platforms. Deadlines for submissions run between March 3 and March 6, 2026, depending on the category.
Selected teams will be required to attend CONECTA Magaluf–Mallorca in person, where they will participate in pitch preparation sessions, official pitching events, one-to-one meetings and networking activities. The organization will cover accreditation fees and three nights of accommodation for one representative per finalist project.
