Microdramas Gain Momentum at MIP London 2026
MIP LONDON 2026 will spotlight microdramas and vertical storytelling at the second edition of the international TV and streaming content market, taking place 22–24 February 2026 at IET London and The Savoy.

The programme will include a main stage panel and the market’s first Microdrama & Vertical Content Leaders’ Summit, bringing together key international players to explore audience trends, platform strategies, monetisation models, and the creative and commercial dynamics shaping the fast-growing genre.

On Monday 23 February, the business models and global opportunities of microdramas will be examined in a main stage panel at the Kelvin Theatre, featuring speakers such as Timothy Oh, General Manager at COL Group International, and Alex Montalvo, Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer at GammaTime, moderated by Maria Rua Aguete, Head of Media & Entertainment at Omdia.

The panel will be preceded by the Microdrama & Vertical Content Leaders’ Summit on Sunday 22 February (14:00–15:30) at The Savoy’s Lancaster Ballroom. Structured around expert-led roundtables, the Summit will combine a data-driven industry overview with curated discussions focused on market insight, partnerships and long-term value creation.

As part of MIP LONDON’s broader emphasis on structured networking, confirmed table leaders include executives from Spirit Studios, Onset Octopus, Stratagem Vertical, Blingwood, Sea Star Production and COL Group International.

To date, MIP LONDON has confirmed more than 500 international buyers, including senior executives from Amazon Studios, Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount, Disney, Sky, ZDF, RTL, BBC, ITV, AMC Networks, Globo, PBS and Samsung, among others.
