Fulvio Marino is back on the road to celebrate the excellence of Italian breadmaking in the new season of Il Forno delle Meraviglie, airing on Real Time (channel 31) from January 2, every Friday at 9:30 p.m.

A baker and miller for three generations, Fulvio Marino grew up surrounded by flour, yeast, and dough. Bread is not just his profession but the core of his personal and family history. In this new edition, Marino resumes his journey across Italy, traveling from North to South to uncover the country’s most outstanding bakeries and to tell the stories of the artisans behind them.

Each episode features three bakers competing across four judging categories: savory baked goods, sweet creations, the “wonder” — the bakery’s signature specialty — and the overall in-store experience. Using exceptional raw materials, ancient grains, natural leavening, and original techniques, the contestants present products that range from traditional flavors rooted in memory to bold and unexpected combinations. The real challenge lies not only in taste, but in the comparison between different philosophies of breadmaking, making craftsmanship and vision the true battleground.
Joining Fulvio in every city is a different celebrity guest, who will award a bonus to their favorite bakery. 
At the end of each episode, Fulvio Marino reveals his own scores, determining the final ranking and crowning a single winner.
