STARZ has acquired the exclusive U.S. rights to “The Nowhere Man,” a six-part action drama series starring Bonko Khoza (The Woman King) and Naturi Naughton-Lewis (“Power,”). The series will premiere on January 16, 2026, streaming weekly on Fridays on the STARZ app and across all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.
Set in Johannesburg, “The Nowhere Man” follows Lukas (Khoza), a former Special Forces mercenary suffering from PTSD who has left his violent past behind to live as a junk collector. When he witnesses a home invasion and intervenes, Lukas is pulled back into a dangerous world he has tried to escape, forcing him to confront his past and the dark secrets tied to it.
“We’re thrilled to be reunited with Naturi, an extraordinary talent viewers know and love,” said Alison Hoffman, President of STARZ Networks. “‘The Nowhere Man’ is a powerful addition to our action lineup and delivers the high-octane storytelling our audience craves.”
Naturi Naughton-Lewis added: “‘The Nowhere Man’ represents an exciting evolution for me as both an actress and executive producer. It’s especially meaningful to reunite with my STARZ family to tell a bold, action-packed and globally relevant story.”
The acquisition further strengthens STARZ’s slate of action originals, alongside titles such as “Power Book IV: Force” and the upcoming “Spartacus: House of Ashur.”
