Dynamic Television has announced that ITVx has secured exclusive UK streaming rights to the holiday event series “Twelve Dates ’Til Christmas” (6x45’). All six episodes of the romantic comedy will premiere on ITVx on December 22.
Starring Mae Whitman (“Good Girls”), the series is based on the novel by Jenni Bayliss and follows Kate, a gifted textile designer who unexpectedly finds herself enrolled in a festive matchmaking programme featuring 12 themed dates in the lead-up to Christmas. The series will premiere in the US on December 5 on Hallmark Channel as part of its “Countdown to Christmas” programming.

Set across London and the English countryside, the series also stars Mary McDonnell, Jane Seymour, Julian Morris, Toby Sandeman and Nathaniel Parker.
The series was created by Erin Rodman, who wrote the pilot and serves as co-showrunner alongside Davah Avena. It is produced by John Wallace, with executive producers Carrie Stein and Daniel March for Dynamic Television, and David McLoughlin for Metropolitan Pictures.
