Primitives’ Quiz Format “On the Right Track” Heads to Slovakia
Belgium’s Primitives has announced a new international expansion for its Friday night entertainment quiz show “On the Right Track.” STVR will launch the Slovak adaptation on January 9th, 2026, with a first season consisting of 16 episodes.

Filip Púchovský, Project PR Manager at STVR, said: “In our version of this fantastic travel-entertainment competition, actor Ján Dobrík and traveller Martin Navrátil will accompany viewers and our competing guests on both familiar and unfamiliar journeys. The show’s unique rules, distinctive setting and live band give us the perfect blend of entertainment and knowledge that we know will delight audiences.”

“On the Right Track” (På Spåret in the original Swedish) was developed by SVT’s in-house team and is now in its 36th season. The format features two celebrity teams competing across three journeys filmed from the front of a train — or occasionally a car or bus — challenging viewers to guess the destination using visual clues and hints from the host, punctuated by puns, wordplay and anecdotes. The format has also been a success in Finland, where YLE is currently airing its fourth season.

Paulette Rosas Hott, Head of Sales at SVT, said: “SVT is very pleased that the format ‘On the Right Track/På Spåret’ is being picked up by Slovak television. We hope and believe that our format, which has brought much joy to the Swedish audience for over three decades, will continue to find its audience beyond Sweden's borders.”

Andreas Uppman Nilsson, Series Producer at SVT, added: “It’s incredibly exciting that Slovakia is now getting its own version of ‘På Spåret’. It’s a show that, in a fun and thrilling way, takes viewers on a journey around the world while allowing them to compete with the contestants in the studio.”
