Passion Distribution Unveils Standout Factual and Documentary Lineup for ATF 2025
Passion Distribution returns to the Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) with a line-up of premium factual and documentary programming, showcasing world-class storytelling from some of the industry’s most acclaimed producers.

Headlining the slate is "The White House" (4x60’), produced by Nutopia for Fox Nation. This new docu-drama throws open the doors of the world’s most famous residence, uncovering its secrets and scandals. The opening season delves into the lives of America’s first Presidential families — John & Abigail Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James & Dolley Madison — revealing the turbulent, often shocking personal dramas that unfolded as a young nation fought for identity, survival, and its future.

Also exploring the past, "The Quest for Camelot" (1x60’), produced by Pioneer Productions for Thirteen (WNET Group) and SBS, follows Professor Mark Horton as he employs cutting-edge scanning technology and fresh archaeological evidence to investigate whether the legendary Camelot might be rooted in historical truth.

New to Passion Distribution’s line-up, "Will AI Take My Job?" (1x60’), produced by Kalel Productions for Channel 4, tackles one of the most pressing questions of our time. As artificial intelligence advances at lightning speed, this bold documentary stages an unprecedented experiment — pitting humans against AI across four professions: a GP, a fashion photographer, a trainee solicitor, and a composer.

Finally, combining incredible on location filming and cutting-edge CGI, comes "Monsters of the Deep" (2x60’), produced by Mentorn Media and Krempelwood for Channel 5. Renowned adventurer and wildlife presenter Steve Backshall leads viewers on a breathtaking journey to the ocean’s darkest depths, revealing the astonishing creatures that inhabit these mysterious underwater worlds.

The company’s attendance at ATF follows a strong year of sales and new partnerships across Asia. Passion Distribution has secured a raft of significant sales over the past six months, including landmark entertainment special "Miracles" to AETN18 India, and returning hit "The Architecture the Railways Built" and "The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres" to I-Cable Hong Kong. In Japan, NHK has acquired "Monsters of the Deep", while Phoenix Television picked up the insightful documentaries "Kate" and "Trump Revolution: 100 World Changing Days."
