The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) has announced the first lineup of creative talents for its “In Conversation” series. Among the featured speakers are Amir El Masry, star of the Festival’s opening film Giant; Kaouther Ben Hania, director of the Academy Award-nominated Four Daughters, whose latest film The Voice of Hind Rajab will be showcased in a special screening; acclaimed Saudi actor Yaqoub Alfarhan, appearing with his film A Matter of Life and Death; and iconic Egyptian star Lebleba.
The “In Conversation” series offers a unique opportunity for global filmmakers and actors to share their personal journeys, discussing the successes, challenges, and experiences that have shaped their careers.
Joining El Masry and Ben Hania are Alfarhan, known for his role in Norah and AlGAID, and the celebrated Armenian-Egyptian actress, singer, and entertainer Lebleba, who will also present her latest film, Wedding Rehearsal.
British-Egyptian actor Amir El-Masry, born in Cairo and raised in London, is recognized for his performances in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Limbo. At RSIFF 2025, he will also present his other recent festival selection, The Stories, which is competing in the official lineup.
Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania has directed a range of short films, features, and documentaries, including the internationally acclaimed The Man Who Sold His Skin.
Saudi actor Yaqoub Alfarhan has appeared in popular television series such as Between You and Me, Women's Play Is a Man, and Girls' Extension.
Lebleba, a legendary figure in Egyptian cinema, has starred in numerous films and television productions under the direction of iconic filmmakers including Youssef Chahine and Atef El Tayebe, earning multiple awards throughout her career.
