The organizers of NEM Zagreb have unveiled the finalists for the 2025 NEM Awards, an initiative that provides opportunities for emerging TV series as well as established titles from the CEE region.
The Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe powered by HAVC category highlights standout TV projects still in their initial phases. It offers writers and creators a space to present their concepts and engage with industry experts who can support their development. This initiative connects creativity with possibility, helping transform ideas into future productions.
The projects reaching the final round are:

• Bryari
• Gray Divorce
• In Nomine Patris
• Sal e's
• Second Chance
• Snow Peaks
• The Boy Who Could Listen to the Soil
• The Suffering of Young Hana
The Best Finished TV Series in the CEE category honors outstanding storytelling, recognizing fully completed TV series from Central and Eastern Europe that have left a significant impact. Based on the assessment of an independent jury from outside the CEE region, the following titles have been shortlisted as finalists:
• TVN Warner Bros Discovery – A Decent Man
• ZDF Studios / Zolba Production – Detective Von Fock
• Real Grupa / HRT – Diary of a Schlager Singer
• Telewizja Polska (TVP) – Drelich
• Radio Television of Serbia / This&That / Agitprop – Operation Sabre
• TS Media powered by Telekom Srbija – Pasjaca
• RTV Slovenia – That's Life
• vATM Group S.A. – The Breslau Murders
• Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation SA (E.R.T. SA) – The Child
• Czech Television – The Offspring
• TV NOVA / Oneplay – What Haunts Us
The winners in both categories — Best Pre-Development TV Series in Europe powered by HAVC, and Best Finished TV Series in the CEE — will be revealed during the awards ceremony on December 9.
